CHAK DE! AMAZE
On the final day of the fest IIPM hosted Mr. Mir Ranjan Negi the inspiration behind the film ‘Chak De! India’. In a special interaction with Amaze participants and IIPM students, the inspirational coach spoke from his heart about his trials and tribulations and ultimately his success. The students lapped up his enthusiasm and earnest style and were left invigorated and motivated after the interaction. It was evident as they asked him questions ranging from how to improve Indian hockey to his experiences at ‘Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa’—the reality dance show! Mr. Negi did not disappoint the autograph hunters either and graciously posed for photographs as everyone chanted ‘Chak De! Amaze!'

Amaze was present in the media for over 20 days with over 35 press articles in all leading daileys, this was the first time ever a college festival has garnered such huge media attention. The articles appeared in Times of India, Bangalore Times, Deccan Herald, The Hindu, The New Indian Express, The Mid Day, The Asian Age, Bangalore Happenings, Bangalore Mirror, Metro Life etc.
